Tea Towel Fundraiser
Our school is participating in a Tea Towel Fundraiser this fall. Each student’s self-portrait drawing will be showcased along with their classmates and the school logo on a high quality, 100% cotton tea towel. This commemorative design will be screen-printed with eco-friendly, water-based inks. These adorable towels are perfect for use in the kitchen, to give as a meaningful gift, or as a keepsake. The tea towels will arrive in time to be given as holiday gifts.
We are asking that each student draws a self-portrait to be included on our school towel.
Cut or fold the paper into quarters. (5.5” x 4.25”) Encourage your child to draw their self-portrait largely and clearly on one quarter in BLACK INK only. If students wish to pre draw in pencil first, have them use a blue pencil (It will not show up when scanned) and then finish with the Sharpie. Have the child write their name clearly beside their self-portrait, or alternatively you may write it. See examples.

Halloween Celebration and School Drive-By 10/29 12:00-1:00
Come celebrate Halloween for our first-ever Drive by Pacific Elementary School event!
What: Wear your costumes, drive through Davenport (old town and new town), visit your school in a socially distanced manner, pick up a school lunch, wave to your teachers, explore the neighborhood and feel the connection to our community. Feel free to make signs and decorate your cars.
When: Thursday, October 29th, Noon to 1:00
Route:See Map Here. Start at Pacific School (50 Ocean Street, Davenport), and pick up school lunch (free for everyone under 18 and $6 for adults). Then turn right on Marine View, left on Church St, drive around the loop by the Davenport Resource Center and church, left and drive down Marine View, left on San Vicente and drive to the end, turn around at the end and drive back up San Vicente, turn right on Marine View, turn left on Davenport Ave, at Highway 1 turn right. Visit ‘New Town’ – head north on highway 1 to cement plant road, pass the cement plant, drive to ‘New Town’, right on 1st street, left on Adeline, left on 3rd street, return to Highway 1 and see the coast.
